Privacy policy

SaaSLeague ("we", "us", "our") operates the website saasleague.lol. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it and how to have it removed when you list a product, place a bid or browse the index.

• Listing data: product name, URL, domain, logo, tagline, summary and the categories you choose. This is published on the site.
• Account data: email address and display name if you create an account, plus your bid history.
• Bid data: amount, option chosen, payment status and reference, and the email you enter at checkout so the bid can be matched to your product and later to your account.
• Device identifier: a random value stored in your browser so each device can upvote a listing once.
• Payment information: all payment processing is handled by Creem. We never see, collect or store your card details.

• To publish and rank your listing and to apply paid top-slot holds
• To attribute payments to the correct product and account
• To keep upvotes and click counts fair
• To contact you about a payment, a listing issue or a policy change
• To measure aggregate traffic and improve the site

Listing content stays public for as long as your listing is live and is retained afterwards as part of the index history unless you ask us to remove it. Bid and payment records are kept as long as required for accounting and dispute handling. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account. The device identifier lives in your browser and is cleared when you clear site data.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• Our payment processor, which acts as merchant of record and receives only the data needed to take the payment, issue your receipt and handle refunds or disputes. It processes that data under its own privacy policy.
• Our managed cloud database and hosting providers, which store and serve the site under row level access rules.
• AI model providers: publicly available page text from the URL you submit may be sent to an AI model to draft a tagline and summary. No personal identity data is included.
• Vemetric: privacy-friendly, cookie-less aggregate product analytics.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

Some of these providers operate outside your country, so your data may be transferred internationally under the safeguards those providers offer. Billing records shared with the payment processor are also covered by our Refund Policy.

Listings, banked totals, upvotes and trending positions are public by design. If more than one person pays towards the same product, contributors can see the payer email addresses attached to that product in their dashboard so bids can be reconciled.

We use a session token to keep you signed in, and local storage for the device identifier used for upvote fairness. Analytics is cookie-less. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.

All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, and database access is restricted by row level rules so you can only read your own account and bid records. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct or edit your listings from your account at any time
• Request deletion of your account, listings and associated data
• Object to processing or withdraw consent where it applies

Paid bids that have already been settled may be retained in anonymised form for accounting after deletion.

The service is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. See also our Terms and Conditions.
